    Director/Responsible Manager

    Ian is one of the founding directors of Capital Innovation Insurance Group and has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry. He currently holds a Diploma in Financial Services (Insurance Broking). Ian is involved in a variety of community groups and organisations outside of Capital Innovation, and is a councillor on the Northern Midlands Council.

    Account Executive

    Dane has over 13 years experience in the insurance industry specialising in broking for high-level clients. He is passionate about offering customer service and products with the utmost professionalism. In his spare time Dane enjoys doing home improvements and spending time with his family. He currently holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking), is a Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) and a Qualified Practising Insurance Broker (QPIB).

    Account Executive

    Graeme has a passion for travel, having fulfilled a lifelong dream to see the ancient Inca settlement of Machu Picchu in South America. Next on the destination list is the running of the wildebeest in South Africa or the wonders of India.

  • Daniel Kosta

    New Business Manager

    Daniel holds a Certificate III in Financial Services, is Tier 1 and Tier 2 compliant, and is currently working on completing a Diploma in Financial Services. He loves to travel, with many further trips to various places around the world planned.

  • Steven Hill

    General Manager - Capital Innovation Australia

    Steven is a director of Capital Innovation Australia and has over 30 years’ experience in insurance broking. He currently holds a Diploma in Financial Services (Insurance Broking) and is a Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB).

    Steven is also the current Chairperson of the Queensland Divisional Committee for the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA).

     Away from Capital Innovation Steven is an avid cyclist and sports fan. He also enjoys family time with wife Kellie, daughter Ruby and their cocker spaniel.

    Account Manager

    Lorinda has been a member of Capital Innovation for over 29 years. Throughout this time she has become a successful Account Manager and holds a Diploma in Financial Services. Lorinda enjoys getting away, camping and fishing with her family and friends.

  • Peter Stewart

    Account Manager

    Peter has worked in the insurance industry for over 23 years. As the Manager of Capital Innovation’s Smithton office, Peter is a successful and accredited Insurance Broker. In his spare time he loves spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

  • Cindy Barker

    Workers Compensation Claims Manager

    Cindy has been successfully managing Workers Compensation Claims at Capital Innovation for over seven years, and has 12 years experience in Human Resources (HR). Cindy holds a Diploma of HR and a Diploma of Work Health and Safety (WHS). Cindy loves to keep fit, and enjoys cycling and running, and participates in a number of marathons throughout the year.

    Insurance Assistant

    Dianne has worked in the insurance industry for many years and has been with Capital Innovation for over 12 years, currently in the role of Insurance Assistant as well as managing a variety of her own clients and training new staff. She holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking). In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and pets, playing and listening to music, gardening and working on her family tree.

    Administration Assistant

    Lauren has worked for Capital Innovation since 2009 as an integral part of our administration team. Outside work she enjoys spending time with her horses and resting.

    Claims Manager

    Mark has over 40 years experience in finance and insurance, dealing with high net worth clients. He is committed to offering quality support to all account managers to ensure insurance claims are processed in a professional and timely manner.

  • Stephen Scott

    Business Development Manager

    Our Business Development Manager, Stephen has over 35 years experience in Senior Sales and Marketing and Commercial Management roles and has wide ranging national and international experience in this field. Stephen is based in Hobart, but spent 13-years in Launceston from 1994 to 2007. Stephen enjoys travel, watching all sport, particularly Essendon in the AFL, playing golf, time at the beach and spending social time with family and friends.
